BANQUET GUIDELINES

The following information should answer any questions you may have about our booking procedures and requirements.

ROOM FEES
The main dining room can seat up to 100 people and unfortunately there is no way to divide the room so whether the party is 40 or 100 people the buy-out is the same. The buy-out is based on what we would make on an average day or night depending on the time of year. We do not do events during the months of January & February.
March, April and May the buy-out is $5,000 to $8,000 with a $1,500 room fee
June is $10,000. Late June $12,000 with a $1,000 room fee.
July, August & September is $15,000 with a $1,500 room fee
Early October $12,000 and late October $8,000 + $1,000
November & December is $5,000 to $10,000 + $500 depending on holidays
The buy-out is a minimum amount meaning all food & beverage ordered for the event is included in this amount. The minimum does not include 22% gratuity and 8.00% ME sales tax. There is a $4.00 per person cake fee for any outside cakes or desserts brought to the restaurant. We do not allow wines to be brought in.

MENU SELECTIONS
Our group menus are generally reserved for parties over 24 people. In order for us to give you the best service possible, we request that parties of 15 or more limit their menu selection to 4 entrees, making their selections from our regular dinner menu. For parties of 20 or more we can do 1 starter, 3 entrée selections & 1 dessert. Parties over 50, 1 starter, 2 entrées & 1 dessert. We do request a pre-count for the number of each entrée selection for parties over 50. Our Executive Chef, Peter Morency, will be happy to accommodate special vegetarian and dietary needs that your group may have. Your menu must be finalized 72 hours in advance of the event. We will be happy to customize your menu with a group name or salutation for your event. Prices quoted for food and wine when the agreement has been finalized are subject to proportionate increases to meet increased costs of supplies or operation at the time of the function due to increases in costs.

ROOM AND TABLE ARRANGEMENTS
Our Main dining room can seat up to 100 people for a sit-down dinner and our more intimate Lighthouse Room (aptly named as it overlooks Goat Island Lighthouse as well as the entire harbor) can seat up to 28 people in the off season and up to 16 people during peak season.  Unfortunately, there is no way to split off the main dining room for parties smaller than 100 people so whether your group is 40 or 100 people, the buy-out fee is the same.

DEPOSITS
Your group reservation is guaranteed when we receive the signed event agreement, which your event planner will put together once all the specifics have been worked out (ie; menu & bar options) and we have received a credit card number or check for the deposit. Deposits for the main dining room are 25% of the total for the event. A deposit for the Lighthouse Room is $150.00. This deposit will go towards the remainder of the bill at the end of the event. Deposits are non-refundable.

DECORATIONS
We are happy to acquire tents, tables, linens or any other rentals you may need for your party and decorate the room to your liking. Rental items acquired by Pier 77 will be paid for and added to the total at the end of the event.


 

Lighthouse Room

The Lighthouse Room is a more intimate space
available for smaller parties.

 

BAR OPTIONS:

1. Open Bar: Where your guests are allowed to order any amount of beverages, which will be rung as one tab and added to the total at the end of the event.

2. Cash & Carry: Guests pay for their own drinks as they are ordered.

3. Limited Bar based on consumption: beer and wine ordered by the case and based on consumption, or a two drink per person average based on $18.00 per person (allows for all wines by the glass and all premium liquors).

4. Set Bar Total: Budgeted amount is set and when that amount has been reached someone from Pier 77 will notify the host or party planner that the amount has been reached and guests will be notified that it is a cash and carry bar from that point on.
